 Old Wood Radios
Real Radios Glow In The Dark

Once upon a time I was really into collecting and restoring old wood radios.  Over the years many have come and gone.  Now the collection has been paired down to just a few.  Below are the survivors!  A few others are stashed away in the shop awaiting restoration....maybe someday.

Following a major basement clean-up, the new "Viewing Parlor" has been created where these devices can be displayed and operated regularly to keep them in shape.

On the left is the 1941 Zenith 10-S-556 BC and SW receiver.  On the right is a 1930 Majestic Model 91 TRF BC radio.  A new grill cloth is due for the Majestic!

On the left is a Silvertone 7170 BC and SW radio, circa 1942.  The radio on the right is a 1934 Stromberg-Carlson Treasure Chest model, BC and 1 SW band.

Now for the rest of the collection.....

1936 Zenith 5-S-29 Tombstone

1938 Zenith Model 216 Cube Radio

1933 Ecophone S3 Cathedral

Silvertone R-71,  circa 1940's
