W7JHS - Portable

Here are some photos of my portable operation from what I refer to as the Prosser Aerodrome Campground, other wise known as the Prosser Airport campground.
The rig is an Icom-706 MkIIG with the AH-4 automatic antenna tuner.  By the end of the 2009 camping season the 90 foot inverted L longwire with a 65 foot counterpoise laying on the ground had morphed into a 137 foot inverted U longwire with an 80 foot counterpoise on the ground.
The antenna comes from the tuner on the floor behind the passenger seat, out the top of the back door window and up about 15 feet on the pole on the front of the truck, then sloping up and out to the 30 foot pole in the ladder at the far end then down vertically to within a few feet of the ground.  As the photo shows, winds were high one day and that was nothing a railroad tie and a lawn rake couldn't fix!
I'll post some more photos next camping season.
