There are plenty of projects to do around the JHS ranch! Only takes time and motivation.
Several years ago, I started working on Old Woody. It's a 100th rig which will be cathode modulated. As the project went on, I stole the power supply for the LFE 813 amplifier and later on, the TBS-50 transmitter intended for the exciter.
Now I'm planning on using a Millen exciter I got from Bruce, K7DYY. Need to make some repairs on it and build a power supply. That project is on the bench!
Well, here's what Old Woody looks like now.
There are plenty of other projects to work on, as you will see in the photo album below. A few years ago I did a major basement cleanup project and organized tubes and parts so I could hopefully find them. Here's what it looks like today. As you can see, there's no shortage of projects around here.
